Fall 2009 RTW: Twenty8Twelve

Sisters Sienna and Savannah Miller debuted their Twenty8Twelve collection in NY this week. Their line is already a success with two stores in London and other retailers around the world.
Fashion editors can deem their runway debut as mediocre and nothing to fuss about, but I love it. It's a standard young fashion collection that I can easily wear and would love to wear every look. We can dream about Marchesa gowns and Derek Lam pieces, but Twenty8Twelve is a collection that girls like me can really afford.

Fall 2009 RTW: Alberta Ferretti
February 28th, 2009 by TresChic
It was refreshing to see color in the Alberta Ferretti line. Don't get me wrong, I love black, but after awhile, you just need some pops of aqua, tangerine and magenta.
Unlike my previous post of Rodarte, speaking to its lack of variety, Alberta Ferretti showed a wide range of multicolor tailoring, feminine coats, party frocks and gray wool pieces.

Fall 2009 RTW: Rodarte

Rodarte is definitely not your every day wear. Fashion forward looks stomped down the runway with metal, wood and stone inspirations. Leather and silk chiffons were printed or silk-screened to look like marbling, Rodarte's main concept for Fall. The collection didn't show range, but key pieces you can layer and mix.

Adam Lippes x Mango

Is there a Mango near you? I sure hope so! Mango, the Spanish version of H&M, recently attained Adam Lippes for collaboration. The collection hits stores this Sunday. I am dying for that black and white dress. Love.

LOTD: Lindsay Lohan

I'm pretty sure I've posted an outfit like this already. How can I resist not posting again? I love this look and it is so easily attainable. Skinny jeans tucked into some boots, tee, cardi and if its a little chilly outside, a good leather jacket.
The key is you want your top to be not tight. Your bottom portion is already streamlined, so your top should be more voluminous for a relaxed yet chic look.
Fall 2009 RTW: Marc by Marc Jacobs

I love Marc Jacobs. His Marc line is fun, bold, bright and optimistic. The Fall line included hiking boots, argyle sweaters, herringbone jackets, striped tights, baggy corduroy shorts and blanket scarves. His collection is always about mixing patterns and although, I wouldn't go that crazy with mixing, it's still fun to see his character shine through.

Fall 2009 RTW: Nicole Miller

Nicole Miller, known for her reasonably priced, sophisticated gowns, worked with a subdued palette. From sequined frocks, dramatic structures, to fun prints, it was a collection that ranges for everyone.

Fall 2009 RTW: Rag & Bone
February 28th, 2009 by TresChic
Marcus Wainwright and David Neville of Rag & Bone was inspired by a trip to Japan for their Fall collection. This is one of my favorite lines of the season that included printed silk dresses, wool coats, skin tight ninja trousers, basket-weave dresses, kimono cardigans and tuxedo inspired pieces. The entire line shows off their tailoring chops - all refined and well structured pieces.

Fall 2009 RTW: Badgley Mischka
February 28th, 2009 by TresChic
Badgley Mischka is always gorgeous and dramatic. The show started with beautiful all black day looks and then quickly transitioned to glamorous gowns. The fifth image with the bright red satin dress is absolutely gorgeous. You'll sure be the center of attention with that dramatic silhouette.
